Setting up a classroom-linked or teacher-linked account on SplashLearn is a convenient way to connect students with their assignments and educational resources. Whether using the Home Access letter, the Home Access link, or a teacher invite email, this article will guide you through the steps for a seamless account setup process.
Setting up a classroom-linked account through a letter
The Home Access letter provides an easy way to establish a link between student and teacher accounts. Here's how to do it:
- Scan the QR code or click here.
- Enter the teacher invite code (teacher unique code shared by the teacher) from the Roster Card.
- Enter your preferred email address, create a password, and click “Sign up”.
- Complete the verification process.
- You will have two options at this stage: "Continue with limited access" or "Start your 7-days free trial." With limited access, you can only access the assignments assigned by your teacher. However, if you wish to unlock full access to all features and resources on SplashLearn, you can choose to start a 7-day free trial. Make your selection based on your preferences and requirements.
Setting up a classroom-linked account through a link
The Home Access link offers an alternative method for students to connect with their teachers and access resources. Here's the process:
- Go to the link shared by your teacher.
- Enter your email, create a password, click “Sign up,” and complete the verification process.
- Enter the Class code provided by the teacher and click “Continue”.
- Select your child’s profile and click “Yes, Continue”.
- Choose between "Continue with limited access" or "Start a 7-day free trial".
Setting up a classroom-linked account via teacher invite email
Setting up a parent account through a teacher invite email establishes a convenient classroom-linked or teacher-linked connection. Here's how:
- Look for the Parent Invitation Letter in your inbox.
- Click the “Set up Parent Account” or “Set Up Home Access” button.
- Create a password and click “Sign up” and complete the verification process.
- Choose between "Continue with limited access" or "Start a 7-day free trial".
While limited access allows you to access assigned assignments, purchasing a SplashLearn subscription by starting a 7-day free trial is required to unlock full access to all available features and resources.
Just so you know, home-access letters cannot be printed in the Spanish language.

Once you've successfully set up the classroom-linked account, you can access the assignments under the student's dashboard. You can learn more about Accessing assignments under the classroom-linked parent account.
If you face any challenges in accessing the assignments, then the child might have finished it already, so it won't show up in their account anymore, or the teacher could have marked the assignment as done, which makes it disappear. This could be because the teacher wants to keep things organized. If you are unsure why the assignments aren't visible, try contacting the teacher.
